Purpose of the EMNAC

The Equity and Mobility Advisory Committee is an ad-hoc
committee of the Circle of Life Development Foundation,
MLK Community Initiative - Rebound the MLKCommUNITY Project.

The EMNAC members are a vital link between the project
and neighborhoods in the Kern County metro area, specifically Southeast Bakersfield.

The committee is comprised of a diverse group of individuals from the community, who have been tasked with advising the Rebound the MLKCommUNITY Project team and helping to prioritize equity and mobility in transportation for the Southeast Bakersfield community.

 Member Expectations

The Equity and Mobility Advisory Committee members are a vital link between the project and neighborhoods in the Kern County metro area, specifically Southeast Bakersfield. Members will be expected to commit to at least 5 hours per month. In addition to attending the monthly meetings, committee members may also be asked to volunteer at Rebound the MLKCommUNITY sponsored events, including assisting with  focus groups, and listening sessions.
